SCHOOL GOAL: To
ensure that all students are extended and supported to improve their achievement
in mathematics.
Description: The school’s self-assessment, supported by the independent verification, has revealed that most students have been assessed as being at the state and LSG benchmarks. There is also evidence of lower performance by some students particularly in the 3 – 6 area.

PRIORITY: Mathematics To introduce the Early Years Numeracy teaching and
learning approaches throughout the school to build on successes in the
last charter period, consolidate progress and work towards higher levels
of achievement in maths across the school. To raise the levels of students’ achievement in years 3 – 6, particularly where they are identified as underachieving students. |
INTENDED
OUTCOMES:
· All components of the Early Years Numeracy program be fully implemented throughout the school.
· The 3 year Numeracy plan be fully implemented.
· Student achievement will be monitored through CSF assessments, Achievement and Improvement Monitor (Statewide Testing), Numeracy Interviews, common assessment tasks and moderation of assessments.
· All students match or exceed LSG benchmarks for Numeracy in all year levels in the charter period.
· In the AIM. the school’s median mark will be at or beyond state and like school median marks.
· Improved overall performance of students identified as underachieving.
